Bobby R. Lowder was born Nov. 14, 1930 in Olney, Texas to Lucy Lucille Trammell Young. He passed about at 10am Sept 22, 2004 at home surrounded by loved ones at the age of 73 after an illness.

He attended Sands Springs Schools and then served in the US Army in Korea. He retired from McDonnell Douglas after 30 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Delia A. Lowder of the home; three sons, Bobby R. Lowder Jr., Ralph Lynn Lowder and Michael D. Lowder and wife Kate; five daughters, Karen Lowder, Suzanne Patterson and husband Cletus, Gwendolyn Lowder, Kimberly Carter and husband Bob, DeAnn Lowder Jones and husband Kenneth; sisters Barbara Morris and Doris Hill and nieces and nephews; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Donations can be sent to Cookson Hills Children's Home in Cookson hills in lieu of flowers.

Graveside services will be at 10am Friday Sept 24, 2004 at Sunrise Cemetery in Kellyville. Services will be under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
