Edna Leona Mize, 97 of Sapulpa passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at her home. She was born on May 11, 1914 in LeFlore County, Oklahoma to Henry and Lula (McCarty) Jones. She was retired from Sun Oil Company and Oklahoma Osteopath Hospital. She was a Baptist by faith.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Archie Earl Mize; son, H. D. Mize; parents, John Henry and Lula Jones; sisters, Gertie Norton, Lillie Mize and Alta Campbell and brother, Jim Jones.

She is survived by daughter, Earldean Watson and husband Bob of Sapulpa, Okla.; son, Joel Mize and wife Kathleen of Chelsea, Okla,; grandchildren, Debbie Butler, Bobby Watson, Kenn Watson, Robbie Mize, Ben Mize, Andrea Mize, Mike Mize, Rhonda Packer, and Sonja Thomas; great-grandchildren, Joseph Butler, Kevin Butler, Autumn Butler, Robert Watson, Jeremiah Watson, Kenneth Watson, Tammy Watson, Mike Watson, Michael Mize, Kevin Mize, Scott Mize, Amanda Whitehead, Billy Sutherland, Michelle Williams, Ben Allen Mize, Bethany Mize, Lacy Foust, Mickey Foust, Brandon Foust, and Angel Sutherland (deceased); great-great-grandchildren, Claire Butler, Cloe Butler, Becca Watson, K.J. Watson, Jaydon Watson, Cody Whitehead, Cooper Whitehead, Gracie Watson, Mackinze Watson, Heidi Williams, Alivia Williams, Lucas Mize, Olivia Mize, Victoria Mize, Hayley Mize, Ashley Mize, Khloe Mize, Kayla Mize, and Jacob Mize.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 25, 2011 at True Baptist Church, Sand Springs, Okla. with the Reverend Bob Watson officiating. Interment to follow at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery, Sand Springs, Okla. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
