James "Jimmy" Romine 70, of Kellyville
passed from this life on Monday September 20, 2010 at his home
surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 13, 1940
in Bixby to Bud and Pauline Romine. He graduated from Kellyville
High School. He meet and married the love of his life Judy Hess.
They were married March 30, 1979 in Kellyville. Jimmy worked as
a rock mason and also was a butcher. Jimmy's first love was his
family. He also enjoyed the outdoors which included spending
time working in his garden and was also known to spend some time
on the water doing a little fishing. He was loved by all of his
family and friends and will be deeply missed.
Jimmy is survived by his wife Judy of
the home, two sons; Mike Romine and his wife Kim of Kellyville,
Mark Romine and his wife Machelle of Hectorville; grandchildren,
Katie, Matthew, and Adam Farrar and Daniel Farrar; three
sisters; Daisy Crall and her husband Jim of Kellyville, Lorette
Dixon of Kellyville, Paulette VanCamp and her husband Ken of
Kiefer, and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents
Bud Romine, Pauline
Romine Pittman, and Gail Pittman, and sister Cathy Cox.
Funeral services will be Thursday,
September 23, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the Kellyville United
Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Hanna.
Serving as pallbearer's will be; Stan Storer, Lonnie Forester,
Jimmy Deck, Steve Deck, Kyle Deck, and Randy Crall. Serving has
honorary pallbearer's will be Rick Crall, Rod Crall, and JD
Goodman. Funeral services will be under the direction of Smith
Funeral Home. Burial
Kellyville Cemetery.
