Noma J[ean] Romine 83 of Sapulpa passed away on Monday, October 4, 2010.

She was born on October 23, 1926 in Sapulpa, Ok. to Aaron and Roma (Cantrell) Hughes. She was a Homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved to shop for clothes, going to garage sales, fishing, and doing genealogy. She was a people person.

She was preceded by her husband, William Floyd Romine; and parents Aaron and Roma Hughes.

She is survived by her son Hubert Romine of Sapulpa, OK.; brother, Richard Hughes and wife Anna (Louise) of Sapulpa, OK.; and a host of Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at South Heights Cemetery Chapel, Sapulpa, OK. Officiating the service will be the Reverend Aaron Hughes. Honorary bearers will be Travis Ross, Kyle Hughes, Wayne Parker, Roger Hughes, Benny Hufft, Robert Hughes, and John Frazier.

Interment to follow at South Heights Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Sapulpa, Ok.
