They had three sons. Edith preceded him in death Feb. 6, 1999.
Kenneth was gifted in music. He played the violin, guitar and
steel guitar. He tried to obey the voice of the Lord. Once, he
was told to go home a different way and he found his niece,
Gloria. She had followed some friends from school and then
didn't know how to get home. He took her home.
Kenneth is a veteran of World War II. He trained for the army at
Fort Ord, Calif. and was shipped to service in Europe. Many
times he was a lineman, working behind enemy lines running wire.
When God told him to move, he moved. There would be explosions
right behind him.

received an honorable discharge in 1945 when the war ended.

The family would also like to thank all those who were so
supportive during this difficult time. A very special thank you
to Sojourn Care who cared for Kenneth during his illness. He was
truly blessed to have such wonderful friends to have passed
through his life.

God Church at noon on the day of the service. The service will
be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 2004 at Green Hill Funeral Home.
