Walter J. Becker was born on November 10, 1931 in Emporia, Kan. and passed from this life on Thursday, March 24, 2011 in Tulsa. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. and retired from Citgo after 43 years. Walter was a parishioner at St. Pius X Catholic Church since 1966 and helped the needy through the Northeast Meals on Wheels. After his retirement he assisted at R&T Express Grocery.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann of the home; daughter, Nancy Cloud and her husband Jack of Tulsa, daughter, Diane Webster and her fianc?© Bill Cates of Sapulpa, daughter,?Debbie Becker of Dallas; grandchildren, Ryne and Tyler Webster; sister Rosie Feldkamp of Seneca, Kan. as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Rosary service will be 7 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2011 and a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2011 at St. Pius X Catholic Church.

Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Northeast Meals on Wheels.
Services are entrusted to Moore’s Eastlawn Chapel, Tulsa.
