Rodney Dale Belveal was born on December 21, 1943 in Ft. Morgan, Colo. to
Charles Hayden and Neva Marie (White) Belveal. He was 67 years of age. He passed
away on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his mother Neva Marie Belveal and father Charles
Hayden Belveal.
He is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Brown; five grandchildren; two brothers,
Tom Belveal and Roland Belveal; step-mother Margaret Belveal Little and several
nieces and nephews.
Rodney in his young years enjoyed riding and breaking horses. He was considered
a good Horseman. He had lots of adventures. He enjoyed traveling the country. He
in later life settled down and worked several jobs with Oklahoma Fixture
Company, Southwestern Bell, and Paragon Industries before retiring. His health
in his last years forced him to settle into a much quieter life. He spent the
last moths of his life with his daughter Rhonda and granddaughter Chloe. He will
be missed.
Funeral services have been set for 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Smith
Funeral Chapel, Sapulpa, Okla. Officiating will be the Reverend Millard McGuire.
Honorary bearers will be Chuck Belveal, Bobby Belveal, Arlin Reynolds, Don Clark
and Frank Cochran. Interment to follow at
South Heights Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
