Tommy Dale Freeman, 70, of Sapulpa, Okla. went to be with his Lord,
Jesus Christ on March 27, 2011. Tom was born on May 22, 1940, in Sapulpa
to Thomas Ordery Freeman and Louise Captola Freeman. Though an only
child, Tom was blessed to have 19 aunts and uncles and many cousins.
Married to his high school sweetheart, Mary Sue, at 19, Tom led a very
interesting career in construction. Working in building construction and
contracting, Tom has made major contributions to the skylines, office
spaces, and homes of Sapulpa, Tulsa, and surrounding areas. Once saved
by the grace of God, he became a member of First Baptist Church Sapulpa.
Tom had the joy of building retirement homes for Baptist Village
Communities prior to his own retirement. Tom impacted many lives through
his years, most of which being his family. They were his greatest joy
and treasure on this earth.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Mary Sue of 51 years; son Tony Freeman and
his wife Kris and their children Hannah Marie and Cooper Allen of
Houston, Texas; daughter Michele and her husband Jeff Nichols and their
children Jacob Alexander, Joshua Thomas, and Joseph Ryan of Wichita,
Kan.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 2011, at First
Baptist Church, Sapulpa. Interment to follow at
Green Hill Memorial Gardens,
Sapulpa.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
