Brandon Wayne Matlock was born on November 28, 1990 in Tulsa, Okla. to Wayne and Cindy (McGuire) Matlock. He passed from this life on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in Mounds at the age of 20 years, eight months and six days.

Brandon loved to be outside, playing his guitar, listening to music, hunting, fishing and riding four wheelers. He also, loved spending time with his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Sonny and Maye McGuire, and Agnes and Joe Triplett; uncle Bruce McGuire.

He is survived by his wife, Hannah (Lemley) Matlock who he married on December 15, 2010 as well as a step-daughter, Fallon Rae Lemley of Sapulpa, Okla.; parents, Wayne and Cindy Matlock of Mounds; sister, Angela Fox and husband Shannon; brother, Patrick Robison; aunts and uncles, Kenny and Lisa McGuire, Coleman and DeDe Rogers, Patty Matlock and Buddy May, Mike and Brenda Matlock, Paul and Louise Turner, Marion and Tim Turner, Chris and Nikki Turner, Nikki McGuire and Jeannie McGuire; cousins, Carl and Charles Nicholas, Gary Matlock, Buddy Melton, Matt and Sophie Turner, Natalie Turner, Keith Turner, Tina Turner Paige, Lacey McGuire and Marissa McGuire and Heather Colvin, Stephanie Matlock, Mike Matlock; nephews, Aiden and Dominic Fox; niece, Darian Fox; and several other relatives and good friends.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2011 at Faith Church, Glenpool, Okla. Officiating will be the Reverend Dick Knox. Bearers will be Kevin Barnett, Brett Smith, Patrick Robison, Joe Robinson, Chris Leonard, and Michael Matlock. Honorary bearers will be Shannon Fox and Kenny McGuire. Interment to follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
