Joyce Marie Papa, 64 of Sapulpa passed
away on Monday, February 1, 2011 at her home. She was born on July 13, 1946
in Cleveland, Ohio to Joe and Angela (Prunnio) Lombardo. She was employed at
Frankoma Pottery as Lead in the Glaze/lab Dept. She was a Catholic by faith.
She has lived in the community since 1979. She loved going to the Casino and
playing Bingo. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much
they were all special to her. She had a heart of gold she could not turn
anyone away that needed help; she was always there to lend a helping hand
whenever or whatever the situation called for. She will be greatly missed by
all her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents,
Joe and Angela (Prunnio) Lombardo.
She is survived by her husband, Richard
Papa of the home; children, Sheila Carr, Richard Papa, Jr., and Angel Papa;
grandchildren, Cassandra Foster, Paige Annunziata, Jessica Keeling, Jaquesha
Spencer, Breanna Zachery, Dante Sucza, MaKayla Papa, Anthony Papa, DaKayla
Adams, Devin Adams, and Darius Adams; great- grandchildren, Cody Ray
Keeling, Jr. and Chase Spencer.; siblings, Bill Lombardo, Nick Lombardo,
John Lombardo, Pepe Lombardo, and Marlene Lombardo.
Funeral services will be held on
Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Smith Funeral Chapel,
Sapulpa, OK. Officiating will be the Reverend Scott Gordon. Honorary bearers
will be Ronnie McCaslin, Russell Allhouse, Stanley Long, Jerry Blose, Jason
Wyckoff, J.D. Annunziata, Todd Smoot, Darryl Smart, Avery Anderson and Jeff
Davis. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home,
Sapulpa, OK.
Place of burial unknown.
