Carrol E. Pinkston, 319 W. Bryan, died Tuesday at Memorial Medical Center. He was born Jan. 21, 1916 in Lexington, Okla., and had lived in Sapulpa most of his life. He was a member of the Christian Church and was employed as a field operator for Warren Petroleum Co.

Surviving are his wife, Izella, of the home; two sons, Jim Pinkston and Jerry Pinkston of Sapulpa; two daughters, Carolyn Redfern of Modesto, Cal. and Barbara Palmer of Sapulpla; seven grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Dessie Heasley of Sapulpa.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Smith Funeral Chapel with Tom Bright officiating. Interment will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will headquarter at the Palmer home, 1424 S. Main.
