Fred Shelton of Owasso passed away Thursday June 3,
2010 at the age of 84. He was born February 9, 1926
in Sapulpa to Ephrim and Bessie Shelton. Fred was an
auto mechanic. Fred was married to his wife Juanita
Turner Shelton for 29 years. He served our country
with the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII.
He is survived by his wife Juanita of the home;
nephew, Tom Shelton of Coweta; niece, Bessie
Krajicek of Sapulpa; nephews Freddie Shelton of
Kellyville and Eddie Shelton of Wagoner and sister
Velma Jean Smith of Tulsa.
Services will be held Monday, June 7, 2010, at 3
p.m. at Smith Funeral Chapel in Sapulpa with Pastor
Lennie Martin officiating. Smith Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements.
