Donald Neil Shobe, 89 of Sapulpa passed away on Monday, April 11, 2011 at Northside Nursing Home, Sapulpa, OK. He was born on August 27, 1921 in Kiefer, OK. to Henry C. and Maude (Chapman) Shobe. He retired from American Airlines in the maintenance dept. He served in the U.S. Army in WW II. He was a Baptist by faith. He attended some college.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ann Shobe; and parents, Henry and Maude Shobe. He is survived by his daughters, Donna Wilson and husband Paul of Houston, TX., and Ann Bradley and husband Scott of Sapulpa, OK.; grandchildren, Trish Framel, Jennifer Peterson, Josh Wilson, Neil Bradley, and Gina Mieir; 7 great-grandchildren; and brother, Bill Shobe of CA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at the Smith Funeral Chapel, Sapulpa, OK. Officiating will be the Reverend Herb Adams. Interment to follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Sapulpa, OK.
