Kiefer Girl Drowned In Fall From Bridge

Sapulpa, Okla., March 22 (Special) Vivian Smith, 7 years old, of Kiefer, was drowned when she fell from a narrow foot bridge into a small creek at the place which had become flooded by the rains of Monday and Tuesday.

Children playing nearby notified school teachers near the scene but their efforts to recover the body were unsuccessful for twenty minutes when the body was located 200 yards down stream.  A _____ was sent from Sapulpa but arrived to late to be of  ... [article ends]
