July 5, 2004 Pauline Wolf passed away peacefully Friday, July 2,
2004, at her home in Sapulpa.
She was born June 20, 1918 in Indianola to Robert Coleman Ballard and
Margaret Walker Ballard.
She grew up in the Slick area and attended school at Mountain Creek and Wyatt,
and graduated from Slick High School in 1937.
She attended North Heights Free Will Baptist Church, having been a member
there for 50 years. She was a faithful member and had a loving church family.
Pauline started her working years at the old St. James Hotel Coffee Shop in
Sapulpa. She later worked for B.C. Glass and retired from Bartlett Hospital in
1978. While at the hospital she worked in the recovery room, surgery and O.B.
department.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six sons,
Carroll Johnson, Jerry Johnson,
Willis Johnson, Bob Johnson and
twin sons who died at birth; and her first husband Bill Johnson; sister Grace
Eldredge; brothers R.C. Ballard, J.T. Ballard and Rex Ballard.
She is survived by husband Bill Wolf of the home; son Richard Johnson, of
Sapulpa; daughter Fredy Jones Wilson, of Kellyville; sister Ruth Blosch, of
Tulsa; step son Ronnie Wolf, of Sapulpa; 13 grandchildren, 19
great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at North Heights Free Will
Baptist Church, with Ronnie Hardage and R.L. Parnell officiating.
Burial will follow at Stroud Cemetery.
Services will be under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
