Troy Shelby Yocham, age 81, of Kellyville, Okla., passed away on Sunday,
January 15, 2012 of heart failure. Troy was a Creek County native, born
September 10, 1930, to Loyron Franklin Yocham and Tillie Mae (Acre) Yocham.
He is survived by his son, Michael Yocham and wife Deborah of Kellyville,
daughter Vickie Tucker and husband Roger of Kellyville, son Rudy Yocham and wife
Teresa of Kellyville; sister, Judy Dempster and husband Jim of Eucha, Okla.,
sister, Lorene Bitsko of Sapulpa, sister Thelma Thomas of Grove, Okla., brother,
Earl Yocham and wife Laverne of Jay, Okla., sister, Pauline Huncklier and
husband of North Ridge, Calif., Kathy Brand and husband Bill of Pryor, Okla.,
and David Yocham and wife Pamela of Sapulpa; 11 grandchildren and 23
great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other family members.
He is preceded in death by his wife Maxine, sister, Velma and his parents.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and active in the VFW, DAV, and American
Legion. He worked in the oil fields of Oklahoma, Texas and California, Patty
Precision and then retired in 1994 after 23 years with Flinco Commercial
Contractors.
Troy touched many lives of his family and outside of the family. Family
visitation and viewing is 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday January 18, 2012atSmith
Funeral Home in Sapulpa.
Services celebrating Troy’s life will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2012, at
Bethany Holiness Church, 15508 W. 61st St., Sand Springs, Okla. Everyone is
invited to join the family 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Creek County Fairgrounds
Thursday.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Ethel Maxine
Yocham 78, of Kellyville, went to be with her Lord Thursday, February 18, 2010.
She was born July 5,1931 in Chandler, Oklahoma to Elda (Bigin) and Daisy White.
She attended elementary school in Chandler the family then moved to the
Kellyville area where she attended schools there graduating from Kellyville High
School. She worked for Bartlett Collins Glass Company in the decorating
department. While employed there she met Troy Yocham. They were married in 1950
in Tulsa. They moved for a brief time in the 1960's to California returning back
in 1966 and living in the Kellyville area since that time. Maxine was a member
of the Ladies DAV Auxiliary and the American Legion. She was a homemaker and
enjoyed mowing her lawn.
Maxine is survived by her loving husband Troy of the home, two sons; Mike
Yocham and his wife Deborah of Kellyville, Rudy Yocham also of Kellyville, one
daughter; Vickie Tucker and her husband Roger of Newalla, Oklahoma, eight
grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous others family and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday February 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the
Westside Freewill Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Millard McGuire
and Pastor Roger Tucker. Funeral services will be under the direction of Smith
Funeral Home.
