Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at General Baptist Church, Old Keystone, Okla., with the Rev. Ed Zickefoose officiating.

Burial will be at Sinnett Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Abbet was born April 6, 1915, in Meta, Mo. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and was a pipefitter for more than 45 years. He also was a member of the Pipefitters Union, Local 205.

Survivors include wife Mary Jane; sons Gene and Raymond, both of Sand Springs; daughters Carol NIGH of Sapulpa and Gayle NOTTINGHAM of Sacramento, Calif.; brothers Verl SHAEFFER of Red Fork, Okla., and Fred Sheffer of Sand Springs; Sisters Grave ZICKEFOOSE of Sapulpa and Opal CAVIN of Sand Springs; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Jane Abbet, 70, Sapulpa, will be held 10:30 am Tuesday at Smith Funeral Chapel, with Shirley Toliver Officiating. 

Burial will be in Sinnett Cemetery, Keystone. 

Mrs. Abbet died Friday at her home. She was born June 18, 1917, in Missouri. In 1960, Mrs. Abbet moved to Sapulpa from Keystone. 

Survivors include two daughters Gayle NOTTINGHAM of Sacramento, Calif., and Carol NIGH of Sapulpa; two sons Raymond and Gene, both of Sand Springs; Two sisters Laura STONE and Elsie EASTRIDGE, both of San Diego, Calif.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. 

The family will gather at the Carol Nigh residence west of Sapulpa.
