Emmitt (Deer Man) Anderson, 85, of Route
2, Mannford, died Friday at his home south of Mannford.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Monday
at the Mannford Friendship community church with the Rev. Gene
Varnell officiating. Burial will be in
Oakhill Cemetery,
Mannford.
Mr. Anderson was born Oct 6, 1906 in
Coweta. He had lived in the Mannford area all of his life. A
pioneer resident of Mannford, he was a farmer, rancher and
oilman. He married Elnora Steel in 1933. He was a deacon of the
church, an avid outdoorsman, conservationist and humanitarian.
In addition to his wife, survivors
include a sister, Velma IHRIG of Weleetka, numerous nieces and
nephews.
Smith Funeral Home, Sapulpa, is in
charge of arrangements.

MANNFORD — Funeral services for Emmitt
Anderson were held Monday at Mannford Friendship Community
Church with the Rev. Gene Varnell officiating.
Burial followed at Oakhill Cemetery in
Mannford under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Casketbearers were Eric BRASHEARS, Aaron
Brashears, John BLACK, Doug HAUGHT, Gerald SANDERS and Jay
Anderson.
Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery
