Earnest L Childress, Jr., 52, died Sunday, July 27, 2003 at home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am Tuesday, July 29, 2003 at Bibleway Family Worship Center at 702 W Dewey in Sapulpa. The Rev. Richard King will officiate under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Interment will be in South Heights Cemetery.
 

He attended Kellyville High School and retired from ESCO Forklift Service. Mr. Childress was preceded in death by Earnest L. Childress Sr.
 

He is survived by his mother, Juanita Petit Childress, of the home, daughters Rebecca Lynn Colsten of Tulsa and Katie Ann Thomas and her husband, Roy; grandson Coleman Thomas; sister and brother-in-law Lillian and Wayne Beebe; nieces Melinda Coley and husband Larry; Clara Conner and husband Chet; grandnieces Laura and Ashley Coley and Nichol Conner; Allen Conner and many other friends and relatives.
