Mrs. Wm. Coday passed away at 8 o‘clock Monday night. after an illness of about two months. Interment took place at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the Wolf Creek Cemetery.

The funeral services will be preached Sunday at the Wolf Creek Church by Rev. C. N. Findlay. Mrs. Coday's husband passed away just three weeks previous to her death.

 She was 80 years, 2 months and 8 days old. having been born in Tennessee, March 21, 1840. She came to Wright county at an early-day  and was one of those women who helped to make this country what it is today enduring the hardships of pioneer days and of the Civil War period; frequently tilling the soil with ox team. She leaves three sisters—Nance Figgins, Sue Bray And Mary Coday. and one brother. Bud Roe.
