Merl C. Emery, a Sapulpa resident; born July 3, 1914, in Oblong, ND. He died Sunday at home. He was a world War II Air Force Veteran. He had lived in Sapulpa for 30 years. H was employed as a book binder for Midwest Printing Company in Sapulpa, until his retirement. He was a member of the Forest Hills Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Terrell Punneo, of OKC; 3 sisters Nellie Watts, Nettie Ashmore and Vera Lois Beck, all of Modesto, CA; twin brother Earl of Sapulpa.

Funeral services at 2 pm Tuesday, Forest Hill Baptist Church with interment in Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Sapulpza.

Mr. Merl C. Emery, 72, 612 S. Adams, died Sunday at his home.

Services are set for 2 pm Tuesday at Forest Hills Baptist Church with the Rev. Sammy Lowe officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Emery was born July 3, 1914, in Oblong, ND. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.

He lived in Sapulpa 30 years and was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church.

He was employed as a printer for Mid-West Printing for 25 years.

Survivors include daughter Mrs. Terrell (Jane) Punneo of Oklahoma City; brother Earl of Sapulpa; sisters Nellie Watts, Nettie Ashmore and Vera Lois Beck, all of Modesto, Calif.
