Mr. William L. Humphreys, 44, of Sapulpa died Wednesday in an accident at his
home.
Services are scheduled for 11 am Saturday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the
Rev. George Christie officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery, Henryetta.
Mr. Humphreys was born July 3, 1943, in Hoffman, Okla. He had lived in
Sapulpa 15 years.
He was a Baptist and a self employed mechanic.
Survivors include wife Bessie; son William
L. II of Sapulpa; daughters Carla Jean Humphreys and Tina Louise Moore, both of
Sapulpa; brothers Dennie and Cason, both of Tulsa, and Jackie of Okmulgee;
sisters Hattie Holbrooks and Dorothy Bingham of Broken Arrow; and two
grandchildren.

Saturday for _Sapulpa Man SAPULPA (AP) — Funeral services are
scheduled Saturday for a Sapulpa man who died after being
accidentally crushed by a forklift blade in the garage of his
rural home. William Humphreys, 44, died Wednesday when he was
working on a garage door opener and tripped, falling under a
forklift blade that came down on him, Creek County Capt. Bob
Robertson said. The medical examiner reported that Humphreys
ribs were crushed and back broken in the accident. He was
pronounced dead at the scene, Robertson said. Funeral services
will be at a Sallisaw funeral home. Humphreys is survived by
his wife, Bessie, and three children.

Bessie N. Humphreys, 45, Sapulpa, died Friday at Oklahoma Memorial Hospital
in Oklahoma City.
Funeral services will be 11 am Monday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev.
J. B. Tiner.
Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta, Okla.
She was born June 28, 1943, in Shady Point, Okla. and had lived in Sapulpa 20
years. Mrs. Humphreys was a member of the Mannford Full Gospel Church.
She was proceeded in death by her husband William
Humphreys in December of 1987.
Survivors include mother Lucille Loyd of Schulter, Okla.; son William L.
Humphreys II of Tulsa; daughters Tina Moore of Oakhurst and Carla of Sapulpa;
brothers Jimmy Loyd of Okmulgee and Carl Loyd of Schulter; sisters Wilma
Thompson of Glenpool and Shirley Green and Billie Beckman, both of Tulsa; and
five grandchildren.
