Lonnie Dean Johnson, 63, of Sapulpa, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004.

He was born May 9, 1940 in Lamar, Colo. to Larson and Lottie McAfee Johnson. He had worked for Liberty Glass and the H and H Cab Company and retired from Bartlett-Collins Glass Company in 2002. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Robert and his brother, Roland.

Survivors are his wife, Joyce, of the home; children Steve and Sandy Cooper, of Bedford, Texas, Stacey and Teresa Havlick, of Sapulpa, Steven Johnson, of Mangum, Mike and Holli Morris, of Collinsville, and Denny and Jody Morris, of Tulsa; grandchildren Julie Cooper, Jennifer Cooper, Jody and Wes Brown, Summer Havlick, Tara Havlick, Johnathan Havlick, Joshua Havlick, Amanda Johnson, Michael Morris, Natalie Morris, Mason Morris and McKinzie Morris; great-grandson Matthew Johnson; a brother, Gerald Johnson and his wife, Kathy; sisters Marcelle Porter and her husband, Bill, Bessie Porter and her husband, Bennie, Erma Rhodes and her husband, Joe, and Roberta West.

Funeral services have been set for 10:30 am Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004 in the Sapulpa Church of the First Born with the Rev. Ben Porter officiating.

Interment will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Casket bearers will be Ed Babbitt, Ken Cooper, Raymond Vanderwege, Jack Harmon, Keith Cooper and Royce Webster.

Honorary bearers will be Stacey Havlick, Mike Morris and Denny Morris. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 pm at the funeral home. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
