Chas. A. Clark
Chas. A. Clark, former deputy County Assessor, and brother to Assessor
M. f. Clark, died Decmber 21st, at Hansford, Texas.
Mr. Clark and family were moving to New Mexico, from their old home in
the west part oof this county when Charley became suddenly very sick, near
Hansford, Texas. After twenty-eight hours of suffering caused by a severe
attack of bowel trouble, he died and was buried at Hansford, Texas.
Charley had been a resident of Dewey county over fourteen years and
was over forty-three years of age. He leaves a wife and six children.
The funeral services were conducted by the I. O. O. F., of which he
was a member. He also held membership with the Woodmen of the World.
Dewey County friends sympathize with Mrs. Clark and the children.
They will come to Taloga to live.
