Obituary - Laura Bell Tice was born in Washington County, Ohio on May 17, 1867 and departed this life February 1, 1956 at the age of eighty eight years, eight months and fifteen days.

She was married to Reed Gibson at Paslo, Kansas, on March 15, 1887.

To this union four children were born. One child and her husband preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn her passing two sons and one daughter. Irvin Gibson, Chester, Oklahoma, Walter Gibson of the home, and Mrs. Bertha Harris, Springfield, Mo., fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was a faithful member of the United Brethrens Church and remained a faithful member until her death. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones, friends and neighbors.

She was laid to rest in the Prairie Bell Cemetery. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. John Jones Saturday afternoon.
