OBITUARY...GEORGE ALLEN LUCK
   
George Allen Luck was born in Danna, Indiana, Vermillion County on June 5th, 1850 and departed this life at the age of 72 years on Sept. 26, 1922, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Annie Marler.
 
He was married in June 1872, to Miss Almira Southard.  They moved to Nebraska in the early days of statehoood and there resided until coming to Oklahoma in the earliest days where they spent the remainder of their days.
   
To this union was born 8 children, Mrs. Laura Belle Mead of Liberal, Kansas, Mrs. Minnie Harper of Peabody, Kans., Mrs. Annie Marler, of Vici, Okla., Mrs. Mettie Snow, of Woodward, Okla., Mrs. Della Bennett of Eldorado, Kans., Edmond Luck of Vici, Okla., Chauncie Luck of Harmon, Okla., and Violet Luck who was called from the earthly home in her infancy to meet the rest in that home beyond.  The funeral was held at Sunny Side, conducted by Rev. J. S. Smith and the remains were laid to rest in the Sunny Side Cemetery.

OBITUARY....EDMUND LUCK   
 
Funeral services for Edmund Luck age 86, were held Monday, December 3, 1973 at 2 p.m. at the Good Samaritan Chapel.  The Rev. Lynn Lamb, Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Mooreland officating.  Interment was in the Sunnyside Cemetery east of Vici under the direction of Good Samaritan Funeral Service.
 
Edmund Luck was born December 20, 1886 in Nebraska.  He moved with his parents when a small boy to the Vici Community.  He attended rural school in that area.  In 1903 he married Birdie Marler in Vici and they made their home in that community where they farmed.  In 1949 he married Lorienena Anna Grill in Perryton, Texas.  They made their home in Wichita, Kansas until 1962 when they moved to Viola, Kansas.  He passed away November 30 at his home in Viola.
 
He was preceeded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Beulah Jordon, six sisters and one brother.  Surviving are his wife of the home, two sons, Harold Luck of Logan, Oklahoma and Clarence Luck of Mooreland, Oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. Ocie Martin of Topeka, Kansas and Mrs. Relta Brenner, 29 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
