Former Citizen Dies In Enid

Mrs. Chris Wenzler, 53, of Enid, a former resident of the Cestos community died in an Enid hospital Tuesday afternoon, April 17, from an illness of four weeks. Mrs. Wenzler moved from the Cestos community to Woodward several years ago, where she resided until six years ago when she moved to Enid.

She leaves her husband, Chris Wenzler, one daughter, Mrs. Eva May Drake, and one son by a former marriage, Nathan Franks of Enid. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. C. B. Sills of Rogers, Arkansas, Mrs. Arthur Cranston of Oskaloosa, Iowa, and Mrs. Gladys Rhodes of Los Angeles, California and 1 brother, Henry Wright of El Reno, (OK). Funeral services will be held at Enid today, Thursday, at 10 o'clock and burial will be made in the Riley cemetery near Cestos this afternoon at 2 o'clock.
