DOROTHY JEAN SKAGGS-RAMBO
(MARCH 4, 1944 - AUGUST 31, 1997)   

 DOROTHY JEAN SKAGGS-RAMBO was born March 4, 1944 in Stratford, Oklahoma.  She married Kenneth Rambo and was a school teacher in the Wynnewood Schools before her retirement.  She was killed in a traffic accident on August 31, 1997.  Her daughter had a premature child at Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City and after driving back from that hospital, she dropped her mother off at Stratford and was en route home when she apparently went to sleep on Highway 29 east of Wynnewood.  She ran off the road and hit a tree.  She died at the scene.   An Oklahoma Highway Patrol Officer was behind her and observed the accident.  Her services were held at the First  Baptist Church in Stratford, with Mike Muse and Pastor Marvin Knox officiating.
