Patterson, Orban C. (Photo)   Sept 24, 1890     Aug 20, 1944    Inside fenced Patterson plot, almost covered with grass, Orban, Everett Mason, Janie Burks, and the Yoder baby are the only legible stones here.  These are the known burials inside the black wrought iron fence enclosure belonging to the Pattersons. Some are no longer legible and others have "disappeared" entirely 5-11

Spring (2009): William Martin's class uncovered the grave markers of Dr. Sterling Price Patterson and Vernon Patterson that had been before rendered as unmarked graves.  They brought the grave markers to the surface and now all three of the Patterson graves are marked. William Martin
