Betty is acting President of the Garvin County Cemetery Association. She is currently involved
in mapping and canvassing our Garvin County cemeteries. With the Garvin County Cemetery Association she hopes to recruit members and raise funds and get volunteers to help take care of our neglected pioneer cemeteries.

Please consider helping Betty in this worthy endeavor, by joining the Garvin County Cemetery Association or contributing money, time, or fund raising ideas. Anyone with relatives buried in Garvin County's small Pioneer cemeteries should be aware that there are currently no laws to protect these cemeteries from destruction by the landowner.
If you are concerned about this and the welfare of these cemeteries, please write, email or call District 22 or District 42.
Please ask them to push forward laws to protect our cemeteries. Oklahoma has already lost many to destruction by landowners. Let's not loose anymore..

From Stratford, the 4 way stop, take 177 south about 1 mile. Turn back west at the first intersection just past Blackburn Field. You will go down this road about 3 � miles. There are 2 stop signs you will come to. Part of the way it will be a dirt/gravel road. The cemetery is right off the road on the north side. It has a gate with a large wooden overhead sign
