and all those resting here, known and unknown

The White Bead Cemetery Board recently elected new officers.  They are:
Deanna Pool, President
Lewis Arthur, Vice President
Mildred Hartley Lewis, Secretary
Vera Mae McCarty, Treasurer

They are trying to get a list together of all those interested in the welfare of this cemetery.  Please send your mailing address and email address, if you have one to or to mail to: Whitebead Cemetery, P.O. Box 323, Pauls Valley, OK 73075, so they may keep you informed of ongoing efforts to maintain the cemetery.  Donations may be sent to this same address.  Contributors will be provided with a yearly statement of cemetery income and expenses if they desire.  Officers will be elected yearly.  There is a monthly meeting.  All are welcome to attend.  Please email for time and place of meetings or watch the Pauls Valley paper.
Plots are currently for sale at $100.00 each.

These last two stones indicate one of the earliest birth dates we have found on tombstones in Garvin County.  The double stone  says Father & Daughter while the single stone says "Mother we miss the" on the bottom, so we believe the J. Peer on the single stone was the wife of Jacob and was born and died the same years as Jacob?  Or is this small stone just an earlier stone for Jacob, and we are wrong about the "Mother we miss thee" on the bottom of it?   The stone before that is for Sarah Eaton, daughter of N.C. Mitchell, from what we can read but this could be in error.
