Max Jones Funeral service for Max Finley Jones, 88, Lindsay, was conducted at 2 p.m., today, November 12 at Erin Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Bill Love officiated. Burial was at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay under the direction of B.G.Boydston Funeral Home. Jones was born March 13, 1905 in Lincoln, Kan. and died November 9 at Lindsay Municipal Hospital. He had lived in the Lindsay community since 1950. Jones was an oilfield driller. He married Eleanore Rae Daly on April 12, 1975 in Anthony, Kan. Jones was a member of the Erin Springs Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one brother, Hubert Hones; one sister, Jacquelyn Shardien; and his parents, George Elmer and Gussie Belle Sellman Jones. Survivors include one daughter, Maxine and her husband, Haskell Harvey of Lindsay; four grandchildren, Rhonda Bray, Tracey Harmon and David Harmon of Lindsay and Michelle Brown of Maysville; six great-grandchildren, Dacey andRyan Griffin, Kalea Harmon, Nick and Garrid Brown and Brittany Harvey; one brother, Jack Jones of Pryor; and two sisters, Olive Vanderwood of Pryor and Thelma Anderson of Pueblo, Colo.
