Roberson -------------- Caldonia Ann Vick was born near Russellville, Ark., Oct. 14, 1858 and departed this life at the home of her son Homer Roberson, October 18, 1939, age 81 years nd 4 days. She was united in marriage when a young woman to T. H. Roberson at Russellville, Ark., but came to Oklahoma as a sooner in 1889 and has spent the remainder of her life in the state. To this union were bore 10 children, 5 whom have already preceded her in death. Her husband also passed on to his reward about 4 years ago. She leaves to morn her death J. H. Roberson and Homer Roberson of Lindsay, R.R. Roberson of Oklahoma City, Buelah Largent of Lindsay and Della Smith of Eagle, Idaho, a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren besides a host of friends. She professed faith in Christ early in life and united with the Missionart Baptist church and was a faithful follower of the Lord until the end. Her remains were laid to rest the in Purdy cemetery in the presence of a large number of friends who loved and respected "Grandma" Roberson. Published Oct. 20, 1939 Lindsay News
