This is a unique early process photo type painting of Thomas Curry, born in 1879 in Dublin, Montgomery County, Alabama, son of Arthur and Fannie Shaver Curry. He was one of the brother's of Emma, Zebedee, Jeannie and Clark Curry. All these family members were pioneers of Garvin County, moving in the area around the 1900s. The family doesn't know much about Thomas. He left the area and was never heard from again.
Fred Curry
Around 1903, Fredrick Curry, called Fred, came to Pauls
Valley from Dublin, Montgomery County, Alabama before
statehood with his sister Emma Curry. He made his home in
Pauls Valley before moving to Denver Colorado where he is
buried. He was the father of Mrs. Luellene Curry James.
Mrs. Luellene Curry James was one of Pauls Valley's earlier
Business owners, operating a small restaurant in the area.
