1. UNCLE
WARREN IS HOLDING A JACK KNIFE.
2. AUNT MARIE
IS HOLDING A PURSE THAT MELINDA RECEIVED BECAUSE MELINDA WANTED HER PURSE TO
SHOW UP IN PICTURE. IF SHE�D HELD THE PURSE IT WOULDN�T HAVE BEEN SEEN AND
SHE WAS VERY PROUD OF IT. MELINDA WAS TO OLD FOR DOLLS AND RECEIVED A PURSE
INSTEAD.
3. ALL THE
GIRLS COATS ARE HAND ME DOWNS WITH THE ONE EXCEPTION ONE AND IT�S THE ONE ON
AUNT LOTTIE. SHE HAD THE NEW COAT AND IS THE ONLY ONE SMILING IN PHOTO. HA

SHE�S SMILING AND THE REASONS? a SHE HAS A NEW COAT b SHE DOESN�T HAVE BANGS
ON HER HAIR, SHE CUT HER HAIR WITH A PAIR OF SCISSORS. LOL NOTICE THE JAGGED
EDGES. NOW THAT�S A FUNNY STORY TO REMEMBER.
4. WHEN GRANDPA RISNER GOT IN HIS CAR TO LEAVE
OKLAHOMA, HE CALLED UNCLE WARREN OVER TO THE CAR AND GAVE HIM A DOLLAR BILL.
UNCLE WARREN SAYS HE REMEMBERS THE SPENDING SPREE HE WENT ON IN TOWN. HA HE
BOUGHT ALL KINDS OF THINGS INCLUDING A FRENCH HARP (HARMONICA) AND HAD CHANGE
LEFT OVER IN HIS POCKET. A DOLLAR COULD BUY A LOT OF THINGS IN THOSE DAYS.
5. I�M SURE
THE OTHER BOYS HAD A PHOTO TAKEN ON THIS OCCASION AND SOMEONE MAY HAVE A COPY
STORED AWAY IN A TRUNK.
