Key to Maps of Towns in Roger Mills County
This table includes a link to every map on which I've found each town. If an entry in the Township Map column shows a link to only the Township & Range, then that town does not actually appear on the current map but I've found out which township and sometimes which section it was in from other sources.

* Cad /Cade | The DoT booklet gave no location for Cade and only the Township, (not the section) for Cad, but I have found no other reference to Cad. Cade is listed as having had a Post Office in Roger Mills county, but OKLAHOMA PLACE NAMES states that it was named for the same man as the Cade P.O. in Bryan County so its history is incomplete. From Dale Tracy: Contemporary newspapers mention only Cade, not Cad. The logical conclusion is thus that Cad is simply a transcription or scanning error and not a separate place. |
