Yeager Cemetery

Hughes County, Oklahoma

The Yeager Cemetery is located from State Highway 48, Broadway Of America, and US 270 intersection, 3 miles east on 270 to the Yeager Road, turn north and go 5 miles on a blacktop road. Continue on north when the blacktop turns east for about 100 ft. (This is N/S 374 and E/W 128). Turn west and go to the top of the hill, about .01 of a mile and the cemetery sets on the north side of the road.

I finished canvassing this cemetery on Nov. 18, 1998.

My Dad grew up in this area and went to High School in Yeager. I am including some notes as he remembers some of these people. I will mark these notes with a * . Some of these families, he can give you more information on and would be glad to talk to you or I'll pass along the information. Some of it will be trivial kind of things and some will be parents and children and siblings.

Hudson Funeral Home is in Holdenville, Ok. Dolton Funeral Home was bought out by the Hudson Funeral Home. If I have missed any other funeral homes, please ask, I'd be happy to assist you in their location.

If you find this information helpful, I'd sure like to hear about it.
