Grady Cemetery
Cemetery was canvassed on February 14, 2005.

There are a lot of metal stakes to show where graves are as well as chunks of sandstone that may have once bore the name of the deceased, but have since weathered away. 

The spot is reached by going East on Highway 32 from Ryan for about 20 miles. At the slight curve in the highway going south, a dirt road goes north a few yards then East.   Along this dirt road, through an intersection, and on to the top of the hill, about a quarter mile and there are two gates to access the cemetery proper.

The second gate is the main gate where just inside is a flag pole and gray granite monument to honor the veterans who rest there and beyond  to the left is a metal tent with benches for family to rest and relax while tending their loved ones, take a few minutes to write of what they have learned, or just to sit and absorb the total beauty of the surroundings.

There were so many blank patches where no marker marred the grounds and many stone slabs set upright with no markings to say who they were for.   If there are any which are known to be in this particular cemetery which are not in this list, please let us know so they can be added.

      grandson’s from A.J.’s daughter Susanne.
