- Born last Thursday to Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Nall, a fine
girl.
- A. Bollinger made a business trip to Oklahoma City
Monday.
- Bonnie Bell Burch visited her grandmother in Ryan
Wednesday.
- Bill Green was here from Marlow a couple of days this
week.
- S. M. Cunningham of Lawton transacted business here
last week.
- Mr. and Mrs. O. G. Arrasmith spent Sunday with friends
in Walters.
- B. W. Costen and wife, from Snyder, are visiting the
family of A. O. Costen.
- Miss Vera Harraway from Hastings visited Miss Alice
Huddle Tuesday.
- Another long rain fell here Tuesday. It put a splendid
season in the ground.
- J. L. Morgan and wife have returned from a
months visit to their old home in Graham, Mo.
- H. Kaurauff, of route 3, was in town Tuesday and made
The News a pleasant call.
- Miss Tommie Henry from Jacksboro, Texas, is visiting
her brothers in Waurika.
- J. J. McCord and family from Oklahoma City have taken
up their abode in this city.
- Mrs. Al Lawler and children returned Tuesday from a
two months visit to relatives in Illinois.
- J. R. Day was here from Ryan Tuesday. Mr. Day is the
only candidate in the county for surveyor.
- A. McCrorey, editor of the Cornish News, was in town
last Saturday on his way home from Duncan.
- Judge Chas. London has returned from a visit to Texas.
He was in Oklahoma City last Saturday.
- Jake Martin and family have moved here from Oklahoma
City. Mr. Martin is operator at the roundhouse.
- Mrs. C. S. Mudd and children returned Sunday from a
three weeks visit to relatives at Seymour, Texas.
- Billy Campbells little girl returned Wednesday
noon from a hospital in Ft.
- Worth much improved in health.
- T. B. Adams, who has been with Durham & Harris for
some time, left Tuesday for Oklahoma City, where his home
in future will be.
