Sunday, January 8, 1905
Cornish, Jan. 7--BILLY BLANTON was here from Ardmore. J.
B. HOLDER and little daughter MYRTLE of Era, Texas spent
the holiday with the PERRY KING family. MONROE SON of
Dixie was here last week. Our town in on the biggest
building boom every known. The sound of the hammer can be
heard in every direction. The Woodmen of the World are
building a new hall over HAGANs music hall. JOE
DAWSON just completed a nice cottage. MR.DAVIS from Texas
moved into his new house. LON ROGERS has finished and
moved into his new residence. THADUS MCKASSON of South
McAlester is here visiting his brother J. L. MCKASSON of
this place. Quite a number of witnesses were called to
Ryan to court this week. BUR DULANEY, who has been sick
for a long time, died Monday and was buried Tuesday in
the Cornish cemetery. MRS. JOHN BARNARD who has been
visiting her parents at Orr returned home.
