DORVILLE SPARKS Drowns
One of the saddest occurrences ever to transpire in this
vicinity came to pass last Saturday afternoon. Mr. and
Mrs. D. F. SPARKS children were in a great glee and
pay running in and out of their house as only happy
children can do, with little fear if any of where they
might go. As they were thus engaged, DORVILLE SPARKS, a
little boy of six summers, ran against the cistern and
plunged headfirst into the cistern nearly full of
water
. The family who came upon the scene too late
to get the child from the water before he was
drowned
The remains of the little one were buried at
the Cornish cemetery on Sunday afternoon
School Begins Monday, September 12
Next Monday morning at 9:00, the school year 1921-1922
