Baby Girl Passes Away
The baby girl of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. COLSON born August 24
died September 2. The remains were laid to rest in the
Oddfellows Cemetery.
PROFESSOR L. B. WILLIAMS in Ringling
PROF. L. B WILLIAMS of Bowie, Texas , who was the last
teacher in the Cornish school under the Indian Territory,
was an appreciated caller in Ringling Saturday, on his
way to Ardmore. He has been county superintendent in
Montague County and is now the superintendent of the
Bowie Public School.

Bee Hive Puzzle Contest Closed Last Week

Local News Items
Cotton picking on the rush now and the yield may be
better than expected.
Q. M. SPRADLING will attend the university at Norman.
E. L. CLAYTON of Ardmore, former Ringling cotton buyer,
visited Tuesday.
C. M. ELDER and family were in town Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. THOMAS of Wilson made the Eagle office a
pleasant call and left behind a quarter page for the
Rayborn Motor Co.
M. F. BRONAUGH of Ada, once manager of the Chickasha gin
here, has been buying cotton in Ringling.
MRS. MORELOCK is having her house raised and a brick
foundation placed under it. MINGUS and BUTLER are doing
the work.
E. J. BEAN, manager of the B. & G. Oil Co., is having
very extensive improvements made at his filling station
on Fifth Street.
J. A BARE and family of Douglas and W. A. WILSON and
family of Augusta are visiting their uncle W. R. WILSON.
MRS. LENA GOODE, manager of the telephone office, has
been very ill.
Mr. and Mrs. W. E. CAPPS of Waurika and Mr. and Mrs. A.
L. MEANS of Wilson spent Sunday in Cornish.
HIRAM HANES and W. S. SHAW were jurors in the trial of
JIM BRAY in district court.
Mr. and Mrs. W. W. WOODWORTH returned from their vacation
in Iowa.
JOHN EWING and family of Carver visited relatives in
Ringling.

MRS. DORA MOX has moved to the residence across the
street and north of H. M. KIDWELLs in east Ringling
