  Viola Davison Archey, 80, of Moncks Corner, died Friday at a North
  Charleston hospital.
  The funeral will be on Tuesday, in the Evans and Miller Funeral Home,
  Poteau, Oklahoma, at a time to be announced later by Russell Funeral Chapel,
  Moncks Corner. Burial will be in Fairhill
  Cemetery, Cameron, Oklahoma.
  Mrs. Archey was born February 6, 1922 in Elkland, Missouri, a daughter of
  Jessie Ores Davison and Ottie Reeves Davison. She was the widow of Iva Lee
  Archey.
  Surviving are two sons: Phillip McDonald and his wife Maxine McDonald of
  Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Clifford Jones and his wife Karen Jones of
  Columbus, Georgia; two daughters: Glena F. Herring and her husband Leon W.
  Herring of Moncks Corner, who were her caregivers, and Lydia Hall and her
  husband Barrington Hall of Tacoma, Washington; a brother, Edmond Davison and
  his wife Alice Davison of Modesto, California; a sister-in-law, Bea Davison of
  Lindsay., California; a brother-in-law, Jack Archey and his wife Bettie Archey
  of Wister, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
  Local arrangements by Russell Funeral Chapel, Moncks Corner. Memorials may
  be made to the charity of one's choice.

    Viola M. Archey, 80, of Moncks Corner, S.C., formerly of
    Wister, passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2002 in Charleston, S.C. She was born
    Feb. 6, 1922 in Elkland, Mo. to Jessie Ores and Ottie Davison. She was a

    She was preceded in death by her husband Iva Lee Archey;
    and her parents.
  
  
     
  
  
    Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip
    and Maxine McDonald of Oklahoma City and Clifford and Karen Jones of
    Columbus, Ga.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Glena F. and Leon W. Herring
    of Moncks Corner and Lydia W. and Barrington Hall of Tacoma, Wash.; one
    brother and sister-in-law, Edmond and Alice Davison of Modesto, Calif.;
    sister-in-law, Bea Davison of Lindsay, Calif.; brother-in-law and wife, Jack
    and Bettie Archey of Wister; eight grandchildren; a number of
    great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and loved ones; and a host of

    Services will be held at Evans Chapel of Memories in
    Poteau at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13 with the Rev. Jimmy D. Cook officiating.
    Burial will follow in Fairhill (Knothole) Cemetery in Cameron. Arrangements
    are under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
