Frank Smith, 94, of Cameron died Sunday, March 4, 2001, in Poteau. He was born Sept. 28, 1906 in Arkansas. He was a farmer.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Catherine Smith; two sons, Billy Jack Smith Sr. and Elmer Ray Smith; and two daughters, Cora Lee Cook and Nora Inez Perkins
Survivors include one daughter, Viola Connelly of Pocola; one son, W.R. "Babe" Smith of Poteau; one sister, Mae Potter of Poteau; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and loved ones; a host of beloved friends.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 6 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with the Rev. Jimmy D. Cook officiating. Burial will follow in
Fairhill (Knothole) Cemetery in Cameron under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Poteau
