Oda Lee Darneal, 68, of Panama, died Thursday, Sept, 9, 1999, in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker. She was born on April 30, 1931, in Shady Point.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred E. Darneal, of the home; one son, Clinton E. Darneal of Midwest City; two daughters,
Karen Baxter of Poteau and Sharon Remy of Panama; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Eastel James and Ellen Cherry, both of Panama, and Lillian Nelson of Campbell, Calif.; one brother, Allen (Buck) Copeland of Panama; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, Sept. 11, at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with burial in
Dog Creek Cemetery.
Rev. Jim Cook will be officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home in Poteau.
