Betty Tackett

BOKOSHE — Betty S. Tackett, 67, of Bokoshe died Wednesday, March 19, 2003, in Fort Smith. She was born Feb. 24, 1936, in Rosedale, Okla. She was a hair dresser and a florist. She was the widow of Wayne Tackett. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Assembly of God in Bokoshe with burial at Old Bokoshe Cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

She is survived by three daughters, Vickie Hettinger, Shirley Swindle and Carolyn Rees, all of Bokoshe; five sisters, Wrenetta Kroth, Jean McFarland and Freda Puhrmann, all of Bokoshe, Faye Haslip of Oklahoma City and Ann Stroud of Parkville, Mo.; five brothers, C.P., Luke and Jerry Lovell, all of Bokoshe, Charlie Lovell of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Willie Lovell of McCurtain; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jason, Jerry and James Lovell, Micky Haslip, Terry Stroud and Tim Kroth.
