Doyle Ray Battles, 52, of Poteau, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2003. He was self employed as a tree trimmer. He was born July 21, 1950 at Dog Creek. Survivors include a companion, Sue Collins of the home; one son, Brent McFatridge of Paris, Texas; three brothers, Robert Johnico of Cameron, Jimmy Wayne Battles of McAlester and Gary Don Battles of Vinita; three grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 6 at Walls Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Cook officiating, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau. |
