Ruth Brown, 77, of Spiro, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2003. She was born Nov. 1, 1925 at Pittsburgh, Penn. to Paul and Emma (Klinger) Barnes Brown. She attended church all her life, loved to crochet and retired from Dukane University and then moved to Oklahoma in 1982. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ralph Paul Brown Sr. and his wife Dorothy Brown. Survivors include three nieces, Emma Matlock of Keota, Ruth Brown of Fort Smith, Ark. and Amelia Dempsy of Muldrow; two nephews, Ralph Brown Jr. and Russell Brown, both of Fort Smith; and one sister, Dorothy Evans of Pittsburgh, Penn. Services will be held in Pittsburgh, Penn. Service day and time pending. |
