Bullard, son of Mrs. Loretta Bullard of Wister, was the fifth LeFlore County serviceman to die in the Viet Nam war.

Bullard enlisted in the army last August and went to Viet Nam in February of this year. The family had moved to Wister about a year ago from Amarillo, Texas, after the death of his father.

Survivors besides his mother include three sisters, Lynn, Charlene and Bonnie, all of the home. Miller Funeral Home, Poteau, will be in charge of arrangements when the body is returned from overseas.
