Earl Edward Crabtree, 68, of Wister, passed away Friday, Oct. 3, 2003, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was born July 26, 1935 at Pontiac, Mich. He was an accountant.

Survivors include his wife Mary Crabtree of the home; six children, Stephen Crabtree and Mark Crabtree, both of Burleson, Texas, Scott Crabtree of Joshua, Texas, James Crabtree of the home, Phillip Crabtree of Euless, Texas and Richard Hambrick of Atlanta, Ga.; his father, Lloyd Crabtree of Ann Arbor, Mich.; a sister, Joan Blackmon of Ann Arbor, Mich.; a brother, David Crabtree of Prescott, Mich.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.

A family memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Poteau with Father Michael Charles Vincent officiating, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
